THE LEVEL OF THE CARDIAC BIOMARKER ST2 AND NT-PROBNP IN CHILDREN WITH PERMANENT RIGHTVENTRICULAR PACING
Abstract
NT-proBNP and ST2 levels are important in diagnosing heart failure and determining cardiovascular risk. The study found that elevated levels of NT-proBNP were detected in patients with right ventricular epicardial pacing, which suggests the presence of this contingent of heart failure. The ST2 level in group did not exceed the threshold value.
